Stockholm Trio supports the development of joint education initiatives based on the unique profiles of Karolinska Institutet, KTH, and Stockholm University. Through increased collaboration, we can better address the future needs of education and societal development
Joint educational initiatives
Karolinska Institutet, KTH, and Stockholm University have developed several joint educational initiatives that leverage the broad academic environment collectively offered by the three universities. The Stockholm Trio working group for education is tasked with identifying and supporting the development of joint educational initiatives, including programmes, courses, professional development, commissioned education, and higher education teaching courses.
MSc Biostatistics and Data Science
One notable joint educational initiative developed with the support of Stockholm Trio is a master's programme in Biostatistics and Data Science External link, opens in new window., launched in autumn 2024. The programme is conducted alternately at the three universities, and students receive a degree from all three institutions.
The development of the joint master’s programme in Biostatistics and Data Science builds partly on lessons learned from creating the MSc Molecular Techniques in Life Science External link, opens in new window. which also offers students the opportunity to study at all three universities.
Stockholm trio has also initiated collaboration on higher education courses.
