The aim of the initiative is to catalyse new collaborations and to build international teams who are well positioned to apply for external research funding.

The seed funding targets collaborations in three priority areas: City Living in the Climate Crisis, Planetary Health & Food Security, and Young People & Mental Health.

The call is open to researchers from all disciplines and career stages and each project may receive up to 60,000 SEK per Swedish partner (Karolinska Institutet, KTH, and/or Stockholm University) and and up to £5000 from UCL. The deadline for applications is 25 May 2025. Funding is available until 31 July 2026.
