Driving collaboration for Agenda 2030
Addressing the complexity of sustainability challenges requires collaboration across disciplines and between academia and wider society. Stockholm Trio for Sustainable Actions (STSA) supports interdisciplinary research and education while facilitating partnerships with societal stakeholders. The aim is to strengthen the universities' collective capacity to contribute to Agenda 2030 External link. and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Mapping research
STSA has initiated a mapping of research contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals. As part of this effort, bibliometric experts are analysing publications from Karolinska Institutet, KTH, and Stockholm University related to the SDGs on climate and health. The goal is to identify key researchers and collaborations within these areas across the universities.
Events and networks
STSA organises annual events to promote collaborations and networks for sustainable development both within and beyond the universities. In 2024, a seminar on interdisciplinary research and education for sustainable development was held in Stockholm, as well as a seminar on transdisciplinary research for a sustainable Europe in Brussels. Sustainability Forum was earlier a recurring event hosted by Stockholm University.
